About me:

Have been working in studios since I was 18, firstly with Soul II Soul who owned a commercial studio in Camden Town and for the last 4 and a half years at one of the biggest Studio complex’s in Europe, Metropolis Studios, in Chiswick, West London.

The last 3 of those 4 and a half years has been spent working alongside and learning from Mix Engineer Tom Elmhirst who in 2008 won 2 grammys for mixing Amy Winehouse’s “Back To Black” album (Produced by Mark Ronson)

The following year he narrowly missed out on another Grammy for mixing tracks on Adele’s debut album “19″ so I’d like to think I’ve picked up a few things when it comes to making records.

2009 was a busy year for me at Metropolis Studios, got to work on some great albums/projects alongside Tom. Here are a few……Corrine Bailey Rae, Jonsi (SigurRos), Rox, Liam Bailey, Paolo Nutini, Jamie T & more.

As well as those great albums….Due for release 2010, I also had the pleasure of recording vocals with some of the biggest artists on the planet at this moment in time…Lady Gaga , Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas as well as Adele, Jazmine Sullivan, Sugababes, Alexandra Burke & more.

Another highlight for 2009 was the launch of i-Mixing at metropolis which I”m proud to say was my idea, the aim for 2010 is to invest more time in getting i-Mixing off the ground and making it more accessible to unsigned bands and artists on myspace.

Also for 2010, I am going to be spending a lot more time talent scouting on myspace, looking for bands and artists I think have potential and either getting them in to record with me at Metropolis or mixing tracks for them if need be.
